Welcome to the City of Yaizu

Yaizu City is located between Tokyo and Nagoya, and its shoreline extends 15.5km from north to south along Suruga Bay. Surrounded by natural attractions, the city affords beautiful views of Mt. Fuji as well as views of local Mt. Takakusa (elev. 501m) towering above the city boundary.

Fishery is one of Yaizu City's major industries with both Yaizu and Kogawa Ports serving as important bases for deep sea and coastal fisheries. Throughout Japan Yaizu City is famous for its fishing ports.

There are also natural hot springs in the city, and these are reputed to be very good for both beauty and health.
